11:00 am Check In
In Cinderella, we are searching for a natural, unaffected young lady to represent our program. She should be charming and personable; well groomed and poised; self-confident; and above all, have the character, humility, and inner beauty that sets her apart as a leader. A Cinderella winner is at ease in a crowd and is respectful of those around her. Her manners, dress, and behavior are age-appropriate. It is important to note that the concept of "beauty" in Cinderella is defined as a person's "inner beauty" and strength of character combined with her personal achievements in at least one area of the performing arts as well as her ability to communicate effectively with others. Cinderella does not place emphasis on physical beauty but rather seeks to promote the beautiful inner person that should reside in everyone.
All participants will receive an award. Overall winners will receive a trophy, tiara, *ribbon banner, and flowers. Beauty, Talent/Personality, and Photogenic winners will receive a trophy, tiara, and ribbon banner. Alternates will receive a trophy. Overall winners are required to attend the state finals in June, will have various activites and appearances during the year, and will attend the preliminary pageant the following year to crown their successor.
Age eligibility is based on the participant's age as of Sept 1, 2023. 8 age divisions are as follows:
Babies: Infant - under 1; Baby - 1 year; Tiny Tot - 2 years
Cinderella: Tot - 3-6 years; Miniature Miss - 7-9 years; Miss - 10-12 years; Teen - 13-17 years; Woman - 18-29 years
Entry registration is $65 for Babies and $80 for Cinderella Tot-Woman. A $10 discount will be applied to any additional immediate family members registered. Entry deadline is February 7. A late entry fee of $15 per contestant will be applied after February 7. Final entry deadline is Feb 12 Entries may not be accepted after this date.
Cinderella is a "natural" pageant. Contestants should still be well groomed but not overly made up. Examples of clothing you may see other contestants wearing can be found by a Google image search for "Cinderella pageant clothing" and can be seen by age division. Modeling demonstrations are available by searching "Cinderella pageant modeling" on YouTube. All participants will turn in a picture at check-in for photogenic judging. Talents are to be no longer than 2 1/2 minutes.
Any questions please contact us at [email protected].
*Overall embroidered banners (Tot-Woman) are not awarded at all preliminaries and overalls must attend the state pageant in order to receive them.
